Hey guys,

About one year ago I finally invested in an airbrush. Have not regretted it ever since and want to document my painting progress here. It does help to speed up the painting process - although as I found out - it often looks a lot better when combined with edge highlighting and/or drybrushing.

Here's my first Eldar Vehicle - I really like the turret of the Night Spinner:

Is the picture size okay or too large? I'm having issues modifying them...

Just let me know.

Sorry for the delay. It seems that there was a problem with linking Amazon Prime hosted pics. Luckily I found a workaround.

This is the current progress:

Really nice! For Eldar it seems like an airbrush is almost a must have.

I've been thinking about getting one as well. Does it require having a separate room in regards of fumes and paint spill or is it workable on a regular desk?

It definitely helps. Just evenly applying paint to the smooth surfaces of the Eldar tanks took me ages and still looked terrible. Airbrush 5 Minutes (+10 minutes cleaning).
You can use it indoors with a mask. I found, however, that there are small paint particles on the table that I use airbrush on: So I wouldn't do it on your 5000$ mahogany table.

Oh Man, that cloudy night sky effect is so beautiful! A good thematic fit for the Eldar too. Amazing work.
