I tried to find a happy medium of mobile long range firepower with the sicarans. I also have a great deal of heavy bolter fire to deal with hordes. The Terminators will deepstrike with the 2 sorcerers. I would call this list semi competitive because I wanted to keep the theme of only chaos space marines. The chosen are to claim objectives.

I think you are missing out on some easy horde mulching cheddar without using the night lord claws because if you are playing competitive, your claws are going to be rending Imperial Guard.

Nightlords are not World Eaters, if you are not running away you are doing it wrong.

If your rapier batteries didn't already mulch any infantry on the field I would say maybe consider taking a single patrol detachment with Kharn and a blob of bezerkers to act as the Grand Distraction Carnifex.

I have had mixed reviews on my list from some other sites that say having 3 CSM squads screening my rapier is rather mediocre.and that they will sit back and do nothing .

To preserve a pure marine list, which is fluff as Night Lords because while they are deemed traitors do not technically side with any particular chaos god.

As a Night Lord's fan I really wish we had access to chain-halberds as a sort of chaos relic blade.

Maybe consider some contemptor dreads. The Night Lord contemptor model is legit.

Another idea would be that any Night Lord detachment is, in fact, quite small that supplement a larger Chaos force. So maybe instead of trying to make your black-eyed pale murderers fulfill a role they do not do well, take a detachment of another chaos band. Patrol of World Eaters for the charge. Spearhead of Iron Warriors for big guns.

This list does sacrifice quite a few command points, but I think it will be effective.
