I have a few wind riders and fire prism I need to Strip and they were painted with at least two things coats of Tamiya Spray paint. I'd had the wind riders in super clean for awhile and it came off very spotty so I havent tried the fire prism. Is there a better method to strip this kind of paint?

I've had the same problem and am not sure. I also have some sort of wfb warhorse that looks like someone primed it in birthday cake which I haven't managed to stop with any of the standard chemicals.

Spray paint is very tough if not impossible to get off completely. If it's primer then that is not gonna be easy. Especially if it's been on the model for many years. If it's been in super clean for long I don't think you are going to get much better. May just have to prime over it and hope for the best.

I've used 91% Isopropyl Alocohol for this and it works.

The paint kind of melts, it's best to use a toothbrush on the model while it's submerged to really get it all off.
