Hi all,
I have an ETC game next week with a friend and an ITC (no soup) tournament in a couple of months. I’ve not played much 8th so have only used a few units and played against a limited number of armies. So I’m not 100% on how my list should be for these games. Can you have a look and point me in the right direction please;

I would drop the beamers and scarabs and pick up another two wraiths.

You have no heavy weapons. What are you going to do against 11 leman russ tanks ? And before you complain its legal under the rule of 3. I wouldnt enter a tournament without 3 DDAs or a gauss pylon.

Thanks for the feedback. I was unsure on the scarabs/wraiths so the look make the change there.

Regarding heavy weapons, atm I don’t own any. I have a few heavy destroyers, I could split and stick heavy destroyers inside. I’m not that worried about leman russes and the like. The plan would be hide (there will be a reasonable volume of los blocking terrain) and then play touch the tank. I know other races have fly on their good stuff but the meta here does have lots of it. Are doomsday arks good now?

Drop the supreme command and use the points for heavy destroyers. A cryptek would be good for your warriors and immortals. Maybe drop the res orb and try to fit the cryptek with the sautekh battalion. If you use the veil on a cryptek with chronometron you can deepstrike destroyers with a 5+ invuln and +1 to RP, but he wont keep up with only 5" move. 1 DDA is a gamble because of the D6 shots and D6 damage, it can be an epic fail or an epic success. I would use at least two, its unlikely you will roll poor on both.
