Looking to build a new army for 2.0!

Coming from Blades of Khorne, I like the shootiness and magic found in Clan Skyre (as well as low model count). I also like to play competitively. What is the current Clan Skyre 2000 point build look like? Is it just spamming Goutfyre scorch?

Under 2.0 rules would they get a single 1 command point for Clan Skyre (regardless of the number of enginecovens) or would they also get command points for each enginecoven too?

I play:
40K: Daemons, Tau
AoS: Blades of Khorne, Disciples of Tzeentch
Warmachine: Convergence of Cyriss
Infinity: Haqqislam, Tohaa
Malifaux: Bayou
Star Wars Legion: Republic & Separatists
MESBG: Far Harad, Misty Mountains

Do we have a points leak for Skryre? It all hinges on that really.

Also, Clan Skryre is one battalion; enginecovens are just parts of it.

Yeah until we know what point costs are for everything we won't know what is over / under cost.

According to a blurry screenshot on Reddit:
Eshin Deceiver 300 pts
Doom Wheel 120 pts
StormFiends 290 pts
Warp grinder 80 pts
Skryre Battalion 80pts
Pestilens Furnace 180 pts
Catapult 160 pts
Some of the engine covens went up in points so probably a wash with Skryre. Or enough points left over to get an Endless spell or weapons team.

I have a vague premonition that Goutfyre one will get a little nerfed. Could be wrong, but it is pretty dang OP with the close up arrival.

A cheaper Deceiver would be nice and help out the ninja rats. I want my Skaven to be my sneaky army.

At 200 points for Gautfyre (on top of the other enginecoven you need and the overall battalion cost) it isn't it that's OP, it's the stormfiends that get delivered. If they actually went DOWN in cost I'm shocked. Though my Skryrefyre is happy.

People keep saying they are OP, but I don’t see Skryre sweeping tournaments. They still look fun to play though.

It's because making the one competitive Skryre build is highly difficult in a practical sense. Between conversions, models that only come as part of larger box sets, direct-to-order miniatures, and the price of it all it's an effort just to get the army together physically. Assuming the conversion of warpfire projectors for three stormfiends (reasonably simple enough that it could be expected from the average gamer), my Skryrefyre would cost in the $400-450 range requiring a combination of direct order and sourcing from ebay. Which may not sound too bad until you realize it's just 25 models, half of which are single man-sized figures, and metal. Which is assuming people realize how to build Skryrefyre in the first place, something that takes more list aptitude/research than many others. Then there's hitting the table with it; against 2/3 of tournament armies it's stupidly easy to win but against the rest you have to pull everything off perfectly and a single mistake is crippling. This is an important facet because that upper tier of lists will serve as a barrier to doing well even while the majority of lists (even at a tournament) will be steamrolled and show how OP Skryrefyre can be. Also, practice in situations where the opposing army has a shot and the opposing player is skilled enough to beat you is hard to find.

Add it all up and it's a hell of a lot easier to copy a Stormcast/Tzeentch/other list with known success that will be easier to assemble and easier to do well with.

Looking at the blurry points I think my list picked up enough to add in cogs so it looks like Skryrefyre survives this edition change without issue. Better in a sense since it can easily steal 'ownership' of enemy cog summons.
