So I'm a bout to pull the trigger on some Shining Spears the listing says the riders are resin, does anyone have experience with that resin?

My big worry is I wanted to use some kind of effect part like armorcasts pewter laser cinematic effect but putting metal on the end of a thin resin Lance seems like a recipe for trouble. Are the any other cinematic effect parts like there's?

Clean it up well (and wash in warm soapy water), ensure connecting faces are flush and meet cleanly, pin if you have a weak joint or heavy piece and use superglue or 2 part epoxy resin to glue (check that it doesn’t damage your resin on a spare bit if this is what you are using).

Metal on the end of GW resin? I'd suggest against it myself.
That stuff is way too flexible and soft

Just drop it in some harsh chemicals to break down the tiny bits, leaving only the bigger stronger bits.
