As I convert my stuff from normal primaris marines to DeathWatch it's become pretty clear that my stalker pattern squad that was pretty useful as Dark Angels isn't so useful as DW (no need for the extra AP when you have SIA). I am looking at going with just bog-standard bolt-rifles. I've already queued up a bunch of shoulderpad and re-coloring work before the Bay Area Open but I'm wondering if I really need to swap the ammunition magazine on these rifles to match. It's a lot of twiddly work with a decent risk of something looking off.

Anyone run into this problem in the ITC? Is it enough to generate a disqualification?

I'm huge on WYSIWYG, but even I don't care about a bolt rifle...being a different type of bolt rifle. As long as they're declared and are all the same I personally wouldn't mind. You'd have to ask the TO via email etc. for clarification.

Also, if you had three squads of identically armed models and one of the three squads had a different rifle - I'd not be a fan, unless they were easy to identify separately.
