The icy touch of death is ever increasing in size! Now with more wars and more souls...

Can't wait for that black coach to be released and the dreadblade harrows... I so love those new horses.

That's a very satisfying glowing affect you have going on, really like the shade of blue. They look ace, nice and crisp brushwork.

Awesome use of color. It seems to fit very well together.

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

Nice! What were your layers for the ghostly white and blue?

I assume a white base coat. Or did you base coat grey and then prime white from a high angle to create a base gradient?

Was the next step washes, or was there layering as well?

The models started with a vallejo tan primer.

The ghostly bits started with an airbrush layer of baharoth blue, followed by white. Next came a thinned down (with glaze medium) guilliman blue glaze, and then final highlights with white again (both airbrush and regular brush).

The darker blue mix used the blue glaze, but with quite a bit of vallejo game colour blue ink added for a deep blue, vibrant wash.
