once the Moon Kittens are back to full strength and finally put two and two together as to what happened on Armageddon (Assuming they already haven't) Will they and the Black Templar's go after the inquisition like the space wolves did during the months of shame. decimating a chapter like that doesn't seem like something the sons of dorn would stand for. and if they do go after the inquisition what are the odds that the space wolves join in to finish the beef they started on the first battle of Armageddon. honestly I could toltally see this breaking out into a toltal civil war (Witch I would be totally down for.)
Also why the actual feth is Armageddon always the planet that gak breaks out between Astartes and the inquisition. isn't that a little weird.

No. Neither the Celestial Lions nor the Black Templars have the "We're older than the Imperium so screw you" defense the Space Wolves have.

Plus the inquisition isn’t one thing, it’s a loose group of people that share a rank with their own factions, beliefs and traditions, it would be like attacking All space marines because the ultramarines pissed you off.

Then yep they could kill them, but there may be some heavy fallout from it if they are found out, they would need to be able to prove that inquisitor was corrupt or attacked them, otherwise other members of the inquisition could end up thinking THEY are the traitors.

Guilliman seems keen to reign in the Inquisition so dispatching their findings to him might get better results. He could probably get to the heart of the problem and declare said Inquisitor excommunicatus without upsetting the whole organisation.

The black templars seem like the least likely chapter to try and do something like this. They are one of the only chapters that believes in the Imperial cult and as such have extremely strong ties to the ordo hereticus. Which is probably why they've gotten away with pretty much ignoring the Codex for so many millennia.

Yeah but they also seem to be extremely protective over other imperial fist splinter chapters and i highly doubt there particularly happy about what the inquisition did to the celestial lions. If them stationing a feth ton of marines on the moon kittys homeworld to defend them whilr they rebuild is any indication.
