Hello!
I'm Dave, and I've been devouring every single piece of Black Library fiction and fluff since I was 12 (the first piece of fiction I ever wrote was for ImperialLiterature.com) but have never painted a model in my life. A friend helped me build a computer last week, and in return (as I knew he was a fan of GW) I bought him some models and paints, and the guy in the shop asked me did I want anything...
And now I'm the proud owner of a bunch of paints, some CSM models, and no skills whatsoever.
Currently working on painting one member of each Traitor Legion as practice.

Welcome to dakka.
Have fun with your traitor marines. Most of the time Chaos is a good choice for a starting faction, most of the time.
Anyways don't be afraid to ask questions.

Players: "why?!? Now we finally got decent plastic kits and you cut them?"
Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?"
GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!"
Chaos players: Guess i stop playing or go to HH. |
