I just found out what artemia pattern hellhounds do for 90pts (namely two decent flamer weapons and exploding on a 4+ to hand everything around them D6 mortal wounds! Without further ado...
Brigade (catachan)
Company commnader (kurovs and GS)
2 Company commanders (bolter)
Ogryn bodyguard with deathmask
2 platoon commanders
6 infantry squads withbolter and plasma gun
3 squads of 3 artemia hellhounds
2 squads of 3 basilisks
3 squads of three mortars
Plan - line up the 9 death machines along the deployment zone edge and bombard the enemy with the mortars and basilisks.

That is great! I love it catachan is brilliant and your going to make people cry! No one in a tournament will be ready for this especially with 14 command points. I’m stealing this list lol, now I just need 7 more hell hounds lol

A similar list was already tried in an ITC GT tournament in February. There were like 15 Artemia Hellhounds. Came in like 12th overall.

The other idea I'd had was to trade out the basilisks for a Raven knight castellan. Would probably do a similar or better job tbh, but keeping it pure guard is a bit cooler

That is true. Careful deployment would be needed I think, plus a command re roll or two on problematic explosions...
