1) it's not representing suicide bombers - they were removed from the army in 1993.

2) that picture of a Tallarn trooper is nowhere near the stratagem in the Codex, nor is it a Tallarn-specific stratagem. Didn't the russians do it not long ago when one of their planes was shot down? The pilot radioed in to be obliterated so he wouldn't be taken prisoner and would bring down as many of the enemy with him as he could.

A joke is something taken that is exaggerated or intentionally incorrect to result in humour at how silly it is based on how outlandishly incorrect it was or how exaggerated to the point of being unbelievable.

Try and not take every post seriously you represent the community and if the community is seen as a bunch of boring people who cant have a laugh once in a while new players will brake away from your community due to they don't want to be associated by such boring people.

I thought you guys would be way aware of it being incorrect due to stratagems and this is a newbie talking only came into 8th edition as a new concept the meme in question is relating to the stratagem and the model that was apparently discontinued years ago way before 8th edition seriously you guys should have known that as soon as you saw the picture but then agien your looking to cause a argument clearly by your response and overlooking this comment as a joke.

Kaligath just accept that your attempt at humour was poorly done and in poor taste and move on. Once you're at the point of trying to explain a joke and define "jokes" as a thing then you're really admitting that the original attempt totally failed.

Overread you are aware humour is subjective and just because you don't find something funny does not mean others would agree with you on another note who died and made you arbiter of what is funny and what is not funny?

Of course if it is illegal in UK non of you UK guys are going to claim this is funny, otherwise you would be ccommitting a felony. Plus british humor makes no sense, so who knows maybe it is funny.

The only person who thinks this is illegal is you; and even if it were, it'd be Kaligath commiting the crime for making the meme, not us for laughing at it.

I asked and a dude in this very thread told me it is. You guys jailed a guy form Poland that was drunk and three a bacon sandwitch at a mosque. And have those crazy laws about insulting people and stuff. Plus maybe mr kaligath does not like those kind of people. The kashmir stuff still boils hatred strong.

There's quite the difference between throwing beacon sandwiches at a mosque compared to this "joke".
One is considered an assult, i.e. i attack a person for reasons.... Another one is a statement controversial but covered by free speech/ other laws.

Not really, not when your drunk, and don't really care where or at what your throwing anything. Polish people don't care about muslims, there are almost non of them in Poland and the super small minority of Chechens and Tatars we do have, are great patriots and/or hate Russians.

Now if the Polish dude threw anything at a Russian consulat, yeah that would be undoubtly be political.

But then again what do I know. My "racism" expiriance in UK was durning school time, when 6 gypsies beat me up and stole my stuff. told it to one of the teacher, and she called my parants to talk to them how racist I am for calling gypsies gypsies.

I think you're misinterpreting hobojesus' tone. For a start, he does say "probably". And the first response to your question said "no".

Also, Kashmir isn't in the middle east. I imagine that there are plenty of people living in Britain for whom it's something to get upset about, because there are quite large populations of Indians and Pakistanis in the UK, but generally when we think of a guy in a headdress with a bomb vest, we're not thinking of Kashmir.

That has nothing to do with politics, more with the mechanics of the law applied to a situation. I would get sued for assult too if i would throw beacon sandwiches at you, even if i am inhebrieated.

So, out of my own curiosity I looked this story up because I'd never heard of it, and it turns out you're right, a pair of drunk polish people did actually get jail time in england for throwing bacon. Not a sandwich though, and not "at a mosque."

They went to a store, bought raw bacon, then both guys went to the mosque and threw the bacon directly at people, yelling "enjoy fethers."

And your claim here is that this was in no way motivated to be any kind of political, anti-muslim statement. If I went into a cheap convenience store to buy a crucifix, then brought it with me into a church and pissed on it while screaming at the people inside the church, would you say "oh, he's just drunk, you don't keep track of what you piss on when you're drunk!"

The tried-and-true "sorry officer, I thought this was my lawn in the dark, and I was just having myself a nice campfire - the wood just happened to be shaped like a cross!" defense.

If he was drunk and throwing away a bacon sandwich (a crime in itself to waste precious bacon in such a manner) then chances are he as drunk and disorderly and probably got arrested for several things at once like breach of the peace, drunk and disorderly, etc....

He didn't throw the bacon sarnie at anyone but at a building.

And he shouldn't have gone to jail for it.

The UK is not a free country but it will be again, your average citizen is very sick of pc culture and the nonsense it allows.
