Hi everyone,

After a group of us have been enjoying the Hare Brained Schemes Battletech computer game, we've decided to take up playing a Battletech campaign. That's been a lot of fun so far -- but things have gotten even a little bit more fun when we managed to pick up a set of Heroscapes terrain pieces at a recent swap meet.

So, now we've got those painted -- and I think our days of having to resort to the default terrain in the box -- or a flat world -- are over.

We created a cave system for our session last week -- and it was fun because the players didn't have an easy way to know when the "bad guys" would emerge from the cave -- or even if they would shoot out using the holes they have left....

A special highlight was when our Crab 'mech pilot backed into a corner just like a crab hiding among rocks at the beach!!

Here are some blog write-ups about using the Heroscapes along with a few other campaign thoughts:

Thanks!

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

"A set" of Heroscape?

We bought four sets, and am still not sure it is enough.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.
