I'm going to partecipate to a battlebrothers aos tournament 1000+1000,my friend is going to play stormcasts( the new ones) while I am goingo to play Kharadron overlords,for now my list is: Admiral,general (doughty champion,masterwrought armour),endrinmaster,2 companies (each one has the volleygun,the skypike and the light skyhook,5 thunderers with every weapon option and an ironclad with the volley cannon and "the last word" as artefact.
I'm not sure about this list,any suggestions?

Drop the skypike and volleygun. Instead get 3 sky hooks. Mixing and matching will only make it so that you won’t get optimal use of everything at 24”.

Consider swapping the Endrinmaster for a Navigator if going against magic.

Consider swapping the Admiral for a Khemist.

Consider swapping Thunderers for Endrinriggers.

Consider using the Deep Strike relic.

You just need to be clear what role your units will be playing, In this list, your main damage output is the Ironclad so i would focus on using your company and Admiral to get in the way and shield it at all costs. Now if you are using the Last Word then it only activates when you are getting charged which is not what you want with this list. Which skyport do you think you will use?

I've tried a list with some similarities to this one and found that the Ironclad is a really subpar investment in a 1k pts game. I had no other choice because I owned and painted one and not 400 pts of alternative options, but I was underwhelmed.
You're hoping to hit with a 4+ cannon once a turn and that's about what it does in such a small game. You'll miss bodies on the floor to play the actual game with.
Maybe a frigate is better but even that one might be a bit expensive.
Same goes for the Endrinmaster as well. You're better off replacing it with more models, imho.
