Is multiple block any good? I am planing on playing Khemri in a leage. It seems like best upgrades are locked in. Get mighty blow on tomb guards (unless double for block.) But how is Multiple Block? Khemri has 4 S5. So you can place him on the line and 2 dice block S3 with out mutch problems.

What do you think?

It is one of those skills that you could take later on. Though you also want a healthy amount of players with Guard who will negate the ST penalty of Multiple Block.

Yeah, perhaps I should take it later on. After mighty blow perhaps, try try to stun down 2 opponents. (Or better.)

The reason I think it can be better for Khemri than for other teams is because Khemri has so many S5. This means you can spend 3 S5 to do dirty work, and keep one in the line of skirmish to deal with S3 linemen.

The TG S5 does not come with a lot of other skills build in that you wanne combo off. Just keeping opponents in the dirt gives you number advantage.

Break Tackle is a much better skill for TG because your opponent won´t be able to pin your mummies with a single lineman. Try dodging with AG 2 (or even 1?).

Sure they can pin him, but ain't it a legitemate idea to just block as many as you can. Sooner of later you roll an armour break and you buy yourself a number advantage next turn.

Break Tackle stil sounds a bit unsafe, even at S5. But I will keep it in mind.

Nope. I would happily deploy an AV8 lineman opposite an unskilled TG. Without Block the mummy will even waste quite a few TR to prevent a turnover. And you will also quite often just push a lineman around during a block.. Dodging with TG who has Break Tackle is a 2+ dodge roll. It is therefore pretty safe. BB is a game about positioning and not senseless mayhem.

1 in 6 is not very good ods. Attacking with a S5 vs S4> is a 1 in 9 for a turn over, signifcantly better. True, he might be stick fighting a roadblock, but that is the nature of the game. And the TG should probably have been positioned better beforehand. But that is why you have 4 of them.

I am stil eying that multiple block, but perhaps after killing blow.

Building a blood in water scent

The traditional hierarchy of S skills is : Guard, Mighty Blow, Break Tackle, everything else. Multiple Block is decent but highly situational, a good coach will just feed you a single lineman at a time. Remember you can't Blitz and also Multi-block.

Guard is king, it makes your skellies and blitz-ras effectively S4.

Guard is king as stated by feeder. Without double skill tomb guardians (and many other big guys) bloat fast. Good thing is, with 4 big guys you're more likely to get doubles on at least some of them. I tried multiple block on deathroller because of S7 so Str is reduced to 5, still 2 blick dice in most situations. With multiple block on S5, you need guard/assists on your targets.

I go guard, mighty blow. After that you're up for bloat: stand firm/break tackle/grab. Too many of these skills without Block and you may consider retiring the bloat and buy fresh.

I'd prefer grab over multiple block to be honest. But hey, if you like it, go for it. Most important is to experiment and play your style.

If you keep grabbing guard, then shurly you have som assist on the rolls as you have teammates near you. ^_^
