Howdy.
Is this combo legal?

You ambush Tallarn Tank Commander, move to shooting phase and order on it Get Behind Them to move before shooting.

Somewhere I think I saw that it was FAQ'ed as illegal but cannot find this as well cannot find nothing in FAQ/ERRATA/CODEX stating this impossible.

I see no reason why this shouldnt work. You can also use a unit of 3 hellhounds instead. The FW artemia is even better. Why do you want to move closer anyway ?

Break LoS, move and attack with flamers and crush them stratagem afterwards and so on .
Hellhounds are ok but very hard to get in Poland and more expensive than Leman Russ (in terms of real money).

The rules for reinforcements say that when a unit is set up on
the battlefield as reinforcements, it cannot move or Advance
further that turn, but can otherwise act normally (shoot,
charge, etc.).

Q: Can such a unit make a charge move? Can it pile in
and consolidate?
A: Yes to both questions – the unit can declare a charge
and make a charge move, and if it is chosen to fight, it
can pile in and consolidate.

Q: Can such a unit move or Advance for any other reason
e.g. because of an ability such as The Swarmlord’s Hive
Commander ability, or because of a psychic power such as
Warptime
from the Dark Hereticus discipline, or because
of a Stratagem like Metabolic Overdrive from
Codex:
Ty are a n id s
, etc.?
A: No.

Yeah you can't use Warptime or other out of phase movements anymore on Reinforcements. Yay for Special Snowflake FAQs!

So the fact that GW clarified that yes, other than charging/pile in when we say you cannot move the turn you arrive, we in fact mean you cannot move the turn you arrive, is a special snowflake FAQ?

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Does this mean a charge move is not a move ?

Because it ignores the RaW, and ignores the fact they previously said you COULD use Warptime etc.

Can we all just call it a ‘rules change in the FAQ’ instead of the repeated, tedious, politically-charged epithet? I mean, it’s been raised before and you doubled down so I guess not, but here’s me asking nicely again.

Can we abbreviate it to 'SSF' instead?

Personally I just assume a social/communicative disorder of some kind. Makes reading and replying nicer when my default isn't thinking he's deliberately setting out to be a dick.
