Hey guys!
So, I wont go through my whole introduction post again, but basically I'm getting back into the game after a long time off (last time played was start of 5th edition).
I've been slowly building up a Drukhari force mainly just due to enjoying modelling and painting. I'm finally getting round to pointing up what I have for a game, and I'm struggling a bit. It seems the point system and even how the Codex is layed out has changed a lot since I last looked at one.
I've made an attempt at a list with what I have just for some casual games to get back into the swing of things and re-learn the rules. I was thinking I'd try and aim for about 750pts, but I've hit a bit of a wall. I was hoping you guys could take a look and let me know how I'm doing. It seems like my Archon is very bare and cheap. The list in general just seems strange. Like the total points should have added up to more.
Any suggestions for changes to items and wargear, and what to add to reach 750pts (assuming I've made the list right) is also very welcome

You can put dubble blasters in those 10 strong units of warriors.

And if you are looking to grow I recomend the getting started box.

Points are rather different now as vehicles have become more expensive, but infantry much cheaper - you're very infantry heavy, it's why your point total probably seems so low.

With 64 free points and what you're fielding (I'm going to presume you lack additional models)

First off, your Archon is super bare, and there's no reason for it. He's also the one unit I can tell at a glance you built "wrong" as you need to remember that you always pay for wargear in addition to their base point cost - and since he can't switch out his huskblade for a weapon that costs 0 you need to pay for a power sword, agoniser, or huskblade.

At a glance I'd say you're expecting him to end up in assault at some stage - so a Huskblade looks like a win.

After that it becomes...thin.
My honest suggestion would be to get a Succubus (with a Huskblade addition to the Archon that would bounce you up to 742 points) she could help in the assault, would get you an extra 5 CP to play with by making you a Battalion, and would strongly boost your assault capability (also, in moving forward with your army, having the additional HQs to start splitting up your forces and allowing you to take Obsessions will be very helpful).

If you want to stick to just the models you have, I agree with the above poster about floating in some Blasters, that would also hugely help your ability to deal with high toughness and high armor threats.

If you think chain snares are worth taking, i would also advocate that you snag some shock prows - they're very cheap and pretty strong, and since you're looking to fill points...

I would argue that there is very little reason to take a pistol and aggie on your Sybarites since you can take a splinter rifle and aggie at the same cost and overall have better shooting support.

Thanks for that guys, it seems a lot has changed since I was last in the hobby!
Thanks for the suggestions too, I should have another list good to go soon.

Keep an eye on mandatory gear. Raider needs a disintigration cannon or lance, etc.

Right now almost everything in the codex is good, you really can't go wrong. The trick with DE this edition is fitting only one kabal/cult/coven keyword in a detachment. Very restrictive in list building. I would recommend focusing on one group (you appear to like kabal units, which are awesome).

Stick with <kabal> units to build your first detachment, then expand into a second one of the other <keyword> later

I would agree. The dark elf book is actully 3 armies in one.

I was definitely getting confused with the keywords and detachments. Is it as simple as sticking to one keyword?
