So i need some long range fire power for my nurgle soup army and am torn between forgefiends or helverins. Both have pros and cons

FF
Pros
More synergy with buffs and abilities from other units
Auto heal every turn
Can be healed with magic
Looks awesome

Cons
Expensive money wise i can get 2 helverins for the price of 1 FF
Not as accurate with only 4+ to hit (but can be buffed with other units)


Helverins
Pros
Longer range
More accurate
Cheaper money wise

Cons
No synergy
Cant be healed at all


So what do you guys think, i am leaning towards FF myself but am open to change

You need to ask yourself first what the Forgefiend can bring that one of your plague crawler variants can't bring to the table.

there is no comparison between PBC/helverins and forgefiends, ask yourself why no one play them outside of garagehammer games.

Is the range worth losing all the other bonuses the FF has

range 3 damage can move and fire heavy weapon without penalities ab3+ , seems like there is no match between forge fiend and helverins, again ask yourself why no one plays FF in serious lists.
