I would assume there were hundreds of transport ships alone in the chaos fleet, and that’s not including any other force.

elevenity billion. seriously though GW has never put an exact figure on this. That said capital ship wise? I'm gonna say maybe 200-300?

we dunno exact numbers, if this new BFG game comes out thats in the Horus Heresy we might get some numbers that'll leave us in postion to make some guesses proably not, GW's been being vague about numbers which is a good thing

Hmmm so when is this new game coming out? I heard about it but never heard of a date. Also I heard it was 30k, which is kinda lame because I like Xenos fleets and I assume there wouldn’t be any Xenos fleets in 30k...

proably not for a few years, and the idea is to START in the Heresy era so that they only need to make 1 line of ships. they can then do 40k expansions.
