Hey,

I've not found an answer to this elsewhere, but perhaps I'm missing something obvious. is it possible to put multiple unit options (Icon, musician, champion etc) on a single models.

E.g. In a unit of Tzaangors can my Twistbray (+1 to hit) also be a Tzaangor Mutant (extra attack) or have one of the limited weapon options (Savage Greatblade)?

Thought appreciated.

It doesn't say yes nor no as far as I'm aware. Thing is banners and musicians is something GW really needs to put some attention on and I get a feeling that they've not relaised this.

In fantasy of times past you had one musician and one banner per squad and you removed models from the back of the formation nearly always; so the banner/musician were never removed until the very end (the assumption being that they were killed in the front line but someone behind picked it up and carried on).

In Sigmar there's almost no limits on many of them - and yet no rule on swapping over. Logically this means that all your units (bar the leader) should be armed with both banner and musical instrument so that if one is killed you don't lose the bonus. Visually that looks daft; heck in visual terms more than one banner per unti looks daft when we've only got a handful or up to 30 models per unit.

I really wish GW would spend afew moments to formally tidy up this area of the game.

from recall, (at work) most units with banners or icons say
a figure may carry either "x" or "y"
so I'd think a single figure cannot carry both
but you can have both in a unit , as they are on 2 different figures (I do this with my Slaanesh Warband)

as to champion/leader/prime,
(I have my Stormcast Battletome with me)
it looks like the champion CAN have one of the special weapons,
as well as its champion bonus (+1 to hit or +1 attack)

I don't have the Tzeench book,
but if the Twistbray is the champion equivalent,
and the warscroll states that "x models can be mutants"
and "y models can have (special weapon)"
*I* would say you can have a Mutant Twistbray with a Savage Greatblade

opinions may vary?

YOu can have as many banners and musicians as you want so long as the warscroll doesn't say "you may take *A*" or other singular word.

Your champions can carry the specialized equipment that the unit can carry yes.

So a champion with +1 A or +1 to hit can also carry one of the unit's great blades (if great blade was a unit option that X models could carry)

From Battletome: Disciples of Tzeentch:

Two in every five models in the unit can be armed with double-handed Savage Greatblades.

Any model in the unit is eligible to be armed with a Savage Greatblade.

One in every five Tzaangors can be a Tzaangor Mutant...

The Twistbray can not be a Tzaangor Mutant, only a normal Tzaangor.

Models in this unit may be Icon Bearers.

Any model and any number of models may be an Icon Bearer.

Models in this unit may have a Brayhorn.

As above. Any model and any number of models may have a Brayhorn.
