Hi. I noticed almost all competitive lists use several small groups of kommandos with two burnas. I've never used them. and had questions

Do you deploy them right at 9 inches from enemy units?

How do you spread out their deployment? Do you lay them down next to the enemy asap?

Nob with power klaw or no?

I see Snikrot used sometimes. How or when do you use him?

I can’t say I’ve ever seen kommamdos used in a tournament. My guess would be that people were taking them to fill out a brigade, though I’m not sure if they are the best option for that. They look like a bit of a liability to me, and not needed when you’ve got stormboyz and da jump available.

I don’t have anything like a complete picture of what’s out there though. Can you give an example of a list with them in?

a couple squads can be great for getting objectives.
up to 15 boyz anywhere you want with free burnas is pretty good.
its like having 2 da jumps for turn 2.
and you could deploy a 15 and 10 squad of kommandos and then mob them up, 25 kommandos it going to warrant some attention where ever you put them. and let you take some loses without worrying about morale.

yes you deploy them right at 9 inches
i would get them out asap, so turn 2 on a far away objective
and also if possible keep them in cover, to get that +2 to save.
i am not a fan of the power klaw on boyz squads, basically all kommandos are. would rather have the extra bodies for the points.
