Nice job! I was never a big fan of the small Crozius the original Primaris Chaplain has. The bigger one works wonders for the mini, as does the backpack! I love how such small changes can have such an impact on a model.
And I don't think I have to mention that I adore your paintjobs. Well, for good measure: Abso-fething-lutely bloody brilliant job, Luther! Especially the green robe, fantastic!

First and foremost, excellent painting job. I want you to know that I hate you because I don't have the talent, or at least the time to refine my talent and get on your level. My jealousy is at an all-time high.
Second, outstanding choice of Chapters. I'd be lying if I said my own personal chapter didn't take a few notes from the Raptors.

My one complaint is that he's left his helmet behind entirely. It should be hanging off his belt or something. Otherwise, amazing conversion/paintjob.

Nice paint job, subtle conversion. Like it. That mate of yours is pretty good too isn’t he. Props all round.
I personally like the smaller crozarius on the original, it’s like a pimp cane. I only did a head swap on mine.

What a marvelous work of art Luther
The quality of the paintjob is probably your best work to date, and the way it ties in with the rest of the army is simply marvelous.
I can't wait for GW to release more Primais kits just to see what you do with them.

Fantastic Primaris Chaplain!
The bitz You used really make Your model unique!
I like chaplain models and now I see that the Primaris Chaplain can be made to look different from the stock model.
I am going to have to round up bitz to create a Dark Angels Chaplain using the Primaris Chaplain as a base.
Thank You for the inspiration!

It was Legofingerz that inspired my Chaplain, so that's awesome if my version inspires yours in turn!

I've recently worked on a P. Chaplain.
Did you have any trouble with the right shoulderpad? Filing it down was a bit odd, it just never seemed to sit well or in a good position. Took a bit of work and Green Stuff to fix mine.

I didn’t do any filing or green stuff... did you use the same pads as me (from the Deathwatch Chaplain)?

Aw absolute hero! Thank you so much for the reply! I will go hunting now. I've been searching for these specific "chin strap" style bare heads, there seems to be some inconsistency between what head gear they're sculpted with across the range but the ones with the two ear pads (?!) and the chin strap element are just wonderful and that's exactly what I imagine them to have on under the helmet, so it can clip back on and is air tight. Also bloody amazing work on these and the banner guy too!

Hmm, to be honest I can't quite remember! I'm sure it's from another Chaplain model but I can't remember which one :(

Another great looking mini dude and thanks for the heads up (pun! ) I think I've got him, isn't he from the Intercessors box set? It's the sergeant's head no?
It's a great one for sure, he looks very serious yet slightly detached from the heat of battle, good expression for a leader type character (who's seen it all before on a hundred worlds).
I've noticed there seems to be some slight variations in the chin strap designs too, this guys got a cut away bit in his for example (it's playing havoc with my "design OCD" for space marine uniformity haha)

It's from the Reclusium Command Squad chaplain.
