So..
1. No move and charge?
2. So with a 6 inch M value it could be you fail charges at someone 5 inch away at the start of your turn? Or have I missed something.
3. And if you fail.. Can you move into cover somewhere near the intended chargepath(shortest route).. or can you not deviate at all?
4. And are you allowed to just not move (stay in cover) or just move 1 inch (to still stay in cover?)

You can truly charge move only 2" if you roll really poorly. Remember that a 1 CP reroll is actually all the dice, not just one. You always reroll the whole roll.

I read the below part, that if you decide to move at all after failed charge you have to get close as possible terrain permiting to the target or not move al all. Take it with grain of salt.

"however, the model can move up to its
charge distance, as long as that move takes it as close as
possible to at least one of the targets of its charge, and
not within 1" of any enemy models"

Yeah cps will be spend there for my harleys....

About moving with failed charge I read the same ofc and it just seemed very all or nothing.. either stay put ... or get out into the open , most likely in short range of the target and it's team (swinging a red flag while painting a target on your head?)
