So like many other Meks amongst us, I found myself very excited by the prospect of new buggies and I thought instead of lurking I should share some of my work.
Mainly so it motivates me to finish off some 30 warbikes I have to paint and finish in time for Orktober. But I'm also looking to improve my painting. It's not awful, but it doesn't turn any heads when I'm playing either, so any constructive criticism is welcome.
Thus I present to you, the mostly painted, mostly unfinished works of Mad Mek Roff... (Apologies for the poor potato quality pictures)
Mad Mek Roff himself. Atop his Kustom Force Field fitted "Warbike". The grim dark answer to a mobile workshop and segway
Though the mad Mek loves to tinker and build from scrap, he enjoys augmenting the local wildlife for purpose as well.
Bear cavalry posing as Nob Bikers.
Though I have a handful of models from various editions, my Wartrakks were quite old, so I decided to make some upscaled Trakks out of Warbikes and my bits box.
This was a market stall find. There was an old Predator and Vindicator begging to be Orkified.
Sweet rides for da Boss and his Boys.
And a few more works in progress.
Over the next few days I'll try and get some more pictures of others projects in Roff's workshop, including a WW2 half track currently being converted into a battlewagon and some Taurox track units that I'm thinking of building up into Grot Tanks.
