Weird question I know, but I’m planning on making a Kill Team with them. I don’t mind if you have to do a bit of cutting to make them fit the necks if there are any issues there, I’m more concerned about scale. Anyone know if Reiver heads (just the ones with skull masks, not helmet) would be a good scale to them?

Cheers

No, they are a LOT bigger.

Like, it would be a comical melonhead look.

Ah that sucks. I had a cool idea to make an Inquisitional kill team out of them and did this quick photoshop mock up. Any ideas for other skull masked heads that look as brutal and cool?

DKOK masks might work. Although, now that I think about it, is it just the commissar that has the skull face?

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

Why not try using necron heads.

Just use skulls. Either cut the face off a vanSaar head and replace it with the front half of a skull, or pin a whole skull in place and sculpt in a neck with greenstuff.

A little bit of righteous anger now and then is good, actually. Don't trust a person who never gets angry.

I have been considering a similar sort of thing but just using the helmeted heads from the Tempetus Scions on the Van Saars.

Admech heads also work really well too.

that and the hooded one works pretty well for inquisition.

I use the beret scion heads on my Van Saar Kill Team and they’re still kinda big. I had to get custom female heads for the ladies in the box, since they’re even smaller. Van Saar are pretty tiny compared to all the other humans out there. Must be all the rad poisoning.

Hey guys, thanks for all the suggestions. I’m going with Necron Deathmark heads in the end. I’ll probably use a few Mechanicus heads in there too to show some specialists and what not.

Hey guys, the Necron and hoodless Mechanicus heads turned out a treat. I painted my first dude out of the 10 here, if you wanted to see.

Thanks again for the suggestions
