I'm trying to plan out a build list for my roster and I'm a little confused about what I can and can't do.

-I'm wondering if I can have multiple leaders/specialists on my roster as long as they are not in play at the same time.

-Also wondering the same thing about unit count maximums. For example "Max 4 DW Veteran Gunners" - does that mean I can only have 4 DW VetGunners total in my entire roster? Or does it only refer to how many I can have on the board?

Any help is appreciated.

For your first question, yes, you can have multiples on the roster. That's in case something happens to one in a game where you wouldn't want to use him the next game or you want to rotate in a specialist that's slightly different for the next game to replace the one you're pulling out.

Just check again page 62 of the manual, there is where the limits for matched play are properly explained.

For your question as Doctortom points, yes in your roster or *force* you can have up to 20 models with no limits (can have as many leader or same specialist, or even limited models in it as you wish)

and when choosing the figthing Kill Team (the models you are using in the mission) it's when further restrictions kick in, up to 3 different specialist, no more than 100 points can't include more particular models than the datasheet points (on this case your 4 deathwatch gunners)
