Hello all!! i am wondering what combinations can be done to maximum effect on tyranids. and looking for some clarifications
venompthropes
malantropes
chameleotic mutation
spore cysts
lictors

can i get to -2 to hitted or always -1?

for example a carnifex with spore cysts standing next to 3 venomthropes or 1 malanthrope get -2 to be hitted? or a hive tyrant with chameleotic mutation? can lictors get to -3 or -4?

Unless a rule explicitly states it doesn't stack with something, it stacks with different special rules. They don't stack with the same special rule either due to the rule being worded in such a way, or due to Special Snowflake FAQ.

To answer your examples, a Carnifex next to a Venomthrope or Malenthrope is only -1 to hit because the Spore Cysts explicitly states it does not stack with the Shrouding Spores ability. A Hive Tyrant with Chameleonic Mutation will be -2 to hit because Chameleonic Mutation does not deny the Shrouding Spores effect. Lictors and Deathleaper also do not deny the Shrouding Spores ability, so therefore their own ability stacks.

hey thanks for the quick reply! always there to clarify things! so venomthropes and malanthropes are not cumulative also the spore cysts on carnifexes!

Correct. Best you can get to (barring special mission rules) is -3 for Deathleaper next to a 'thrope.
