Hi guys Dantehilator here
I just recently bought a Adeptus Titanicus kit that is still coming in the mail by this week.
Anyway to the point. its a warlord battle titan and on the note why Istarted this post is because I bought 5 rare earth magnets that are 19MM diameter and their disc magnets. I was hoping to only magnetize the arms and the hip joint for shipping purposes when I bring it to my games.
Just so everyone knows I run 3,000pts worth of Blood Angels and want to paint this titan up as part of my army. Not following lore accuracy because I know warlord titans only fight along side space marine chapter's and aren't actually apart of them. Has anyone ever ran a Warlord Titan before and built it? let me know cause I want some tips for ease of assembly.
P.S. what is the points cost of one of these in total because I have been hearing the base points is 2,750points and I don't know if this is true in 8th edition or 40K and how would you field it. I will never field this against my friends though because I don't have any that can field apocalypse games yet. My BA army ain't 100% ready for these types of games either. Thanks

Do you mean 40K scale not Adeptus Titanicus scale? 19mm magnets will be a teeeensy bit large for AT!

If you mean 40K (I hope you haven't bought an AT warlord hoping to use it in 40K? ) then it is a lot more than 2750pts now (more than double that).
You'll need index imperial armour astra militarum for the rules and chapter approved 2017 for the current points.
Something you will want is brass rod and a long drill bit of the appropriate diameter. Then for things like the hip joints you can drill all the way through a couple of times and put rods through both legs and the hips.

So are you planning to use it in 40K? As a warlord titan?

Might be a touch small.
Also, I've only just noticed the arrows on the tips of the eagle (they're on the 40K warlord as well). Looks kinda chaosy.

Ok nice. Of course AT has no infantry rules so can't field him with BA. Don't even think about using it in 40k...No way anybody will let you such a proxy. With 6k points it will be autolose for you so opponent has no reason to play. Boring autowin against not even good looking model(for the scale)

Yeah, it reads like that's the intention though, kind of. A warlord titan you can hide behind a citadel ruin.

I don't know - the 19mm magnets suggests that OP thought it was a 40K scale titan.

Well if he seriously thought he gets 40k scaled warlord titan for that price he has already learned of mistake. Wonder what he plans to use it for now?
