What formats do you play on?
Im pretty much exclusive PC unless in a friends house playing some Mariokart.
Used to own a Megadrive back in the day which I loved and brother had an N64 which was great too but since about 1998 its been PC pretty much all the way.
I play the very odd game on the iphone - maybe chess or jewel academy etc but not in any depth.

Had consoles as a kid, but once you have a PC, you don't really need one anymore.
I don't play on my phone, mostly because mobile games tend to be annoyingly shallow because there's only so much you can do for controls with basically one button and a tilt sensor.

Console for the most part, though I do dip into the odd game my fairly rubbish laptop can run (mainly stuff in the vein of FTL/Darkest Dungeon or Paradox Grand Strategy games, nothing with too many moving parts as it's running on integrated graphics). I've been Team Xbox since the original, though did recently get a PS4 as the list of exciting exclusives keeps getting longer there (2 weeks to Spider-man!) and will possibly go PS5 next generation for the same reason.

I'd love a proper gaming PC just for the greater options (more indie games, more power to run things like Stellaris on higher graphics settings, modding potential on Fallout/Skyrim ect) but even then, I'd probably reserve it for smaller or more complex titles, any shooters/action games/ARPGs would probably still be done on console as I just find that more comfortable and less complex. I think in the console-vs-pc debate, an oft-overlooked factor in favour of the former is that if you put an Xbox One game into an Xbox One, it'll run it. No needing to worry about chasing the latest specs, compatibility, anything like that.

PC and mobile mostly, sometimes handheld consoles and would play consoles more but I don't really like the directions things went after the xbox360/ps3/wii era sadly. Kind of looking back at the older consoles though, like maybe getting them refurbished (since you can get stuff like hdmi ports added to n64s for example so its more compatible with newer tvs) haven't really got around to it though.

PC only, with the odd game of Freeblade on my iPad. A few years ago I invested big time into my PC and aside from a graphics card upgrade the beast can still run the newest games without struggling.

I used to own several generations of the X360, but I quit after they announced its successor, I was getting a bit tired of having to buy a new one every time it broke down and couldn't be fixed any more.

Usually more into Computers than consoles.
Mobile? Its a phone! and I am keeping it free of useless chaff.

If we count Emulators too, I could start 3 different systems ( plus 2 if i set them up from storage ) based on Hardware plus 5-6 more in just software. Grown up at the 8-bit era means you got some time to collect stuff...

Currently running either the PC ( 4x style games to spend some hours ) or the Amiga ( just a quick game to entertain myself ).

Modern consoles aren`t soo bad but I don't need more Games and gaming-equipment and there are friends who own them and let me play.

I was console in my early teens (NES/Megadrive/SNES) then PC for a bit in the late 90s (played the crap out of the first GTA). Then as a young adult I was too poor to keep a true gaming PC going so had Xbox (whilst playing things like Civ on my cheap desktop) and then a 360. Around 2011 I was able to hop back aboard the PC Master Race train and a few years ago phased out my 360 completely. I wouldn't have a console now, and thanks to Steam link I can either play my PC upstairs at a desk if I need the full setup or stream downstairs and sit on the sofa with my old Xbox controller for more casual games.

I did build a RetroPi a little while ago and gave a few old games a go but nothing really stuck.

Was never allowed consoles as a kid, so no Nintendo and no Sega.

Always had PCs, still have PCs.

That said, when I got my first job I did buy a PS2 with my first pay because I had played Tekken 5 for the first time a few weeks earlier and literally could not go on living without being able to play it whenever I wanted.

Also got a PS3 eventually when my computer was 5 years out of date and couldn't run anything.

I will eventually get a PS4 once we reach a critical mass of games that I cannot get on PC.

PC primarily. I've got a PS3, but that's mainly just a Blu-ray player now; still have some games for it. Also have a Switch and 3DS (and a 2DS for all my GBA games) for a few games. I usually only play mobile games on my phone when I'm lying in bed and can't sleep or when I'm in the bathroom.

I've always been a PC gamer. For me, gaming is done at a desk, in a chair, with a keyboard and mouse. I've even hooked the Switch up to my PC monitor, too.

Both PC and PS4. PS4 for the exclusives and because I like having couch games with my friends when they're over. PC is more for things like HoTS, Vermintide, and because not all of my friends have the same console.

I have a PC that I do most of my gaming on, as well as a Playstation 3 that mostly collects dust these days. The reason I don't get a PS4 to stay current is because I really don't need more electronic crack distracting me from painting miniatures. My stuff takes long enough to paint as it is.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/1/23, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~15000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Adeptus Custodes: ~1900 | Imperial Knights: ~2000 | Sisters of Battle: ~3500 | Leagues of Votann: ~1200 | Tyranids: ~2600 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000

My PC is down at the moment, but I am primarily a PC guy. I play the odd game on the Phone (FFT or Fallout Shelter)and I have a Wii U. I was hard in to consoles for a long time. I gave up after the 360, when I got my first dedicated gaming PC. Other than Nintendo games, I dont have much use for consoles.

Worrying about specs is not such a big thing anymore. If you have a dedicated gaming PC a good graphics card can last you for years and a high end pcu can last 5+ easy. Usually only necessary if you are worried about your computer running 60 frames on ultra settings with 3 trillion shadows and god rays on the screen

PC only.

The types of games I like aren't on consoles, and the major console titles don't appeal to me at all.

Plus I object to buying pre-broken hardware, with various compromises to the components due to agreements about the components, physical limitations, and wanting to sell the next iteration.

Phone.. nah. I can barely stand reading on my phone (and it can barely stand any sort of battery usage), so trying to play a game on it just seems crazy.

Efficiency is the highest virtue.

PC for the obvious reasons of more power/higher quality of graphics and frame rate, along with my (generally) preferred control scheme of mouse and keyboard and wider selection of games along with being able to watch something/listen to music/browse the web/use discord on a second screen.

However, that being said I've recently been falling in love with my switch a lot more because it travels REALLY well, has a decent battery, and a surprisingly great selection of games along with the controls feeling great. I love that the controllers detach so I can set the screen up with the built in stand and just sit back instead of having to hold the entire thing when I have a lot of downtime. Plus, the next best competitor (imo) the 3DS is just massively outdated (obviously). Controls suck after about half an hour, battery life is pretty good, but the screens are just so tiny and obviously the hardware and general design are showing their age badly.

PS4 has been gathering dust since I finished Persona 5, although the new Spider-Man game is really tempting, and I'm hoping for it to be good, and maybe the upcoming Kingdom Hearts game will give me a reason to plug it back in.

Phone is used only for minor games and short bursts to kill 5-10 minutes. Mostly playing stuff like word puzzles and what not which have a fairly low pay2win factor so I'm never even tempted to spend a cent on it.
