Getting back into the hobby from a long absence. Started with Vanilla marines of my own make but i've slowly been converting them. Now i've got about 2,500pts worth of Space Wolves although the new fluff has me shaking my head.
Looking forward to getting involved in KillTeam. I've got 2 teams to field. 1st team is all scouts and another is Tacticals. A third KillTeam is in the works using DeathWactch rules with WolfGuard equiped with power mauls and storm shields(Dont know how effective these 5 guys will be , will be fun to see) New baby is making game time harder to find but painting and converting are great stress relief. Considering my lack of talent i've got gotten ambitious. My goal is to make my own custom chapter of Marines using Space Wolf rules.

Sounds like you've got a pretty sizeable force of the Russ' best! Yes the new fluff is somewhat divisive but overall its gotten things moving. Plus with all the specialist games getting some love you can just focus on those and forget about the going ons in the wider galaxy

Welcome! I stopped playing around 4th/5th, and made a few abortive attempts to restart. 8th is an awesome edition to come back to. I feel like the rules are pretty intuitive.
