The unit had 8 Panzer III tanks, but for gaming I have only recreated three of them. The tanks were attached to Kampfgruppe Knaust during the fighting and represent an Ausf G and an Ausf M as seen on 20th September 1944 on the Nieuwe Kade near Veilingstraat. Both were later knocked out near Elst.

The last tank finished today represents another of the units Panzer IIIs as seen arriving in Zevenaar, a town east of Arnhem.

DAK...

Beautifully done !

As an aside - I've never played the Battlegroup rules - how do they compare say to Flames of War?

Nice one Big p, haven’t seen you on here for a while. Did you miss battle group south this year.

You can't have DAKKA without the DAK.

How does it compare to Flames of War? It doesn't compare. Battlegroup is better. That is all.

More streamlined. Much fewer pages than FOW.

More aimed at historical accuracy. Games are played by theater books. So Germans in Overlord not the same as at Kursk.

No tank parking lots. Infantry very important.
