I am looking for advice on how to build up from 1000ish to a 2000 point list.

What I own right now are:

The soul wars box
Astreia Solbright
Easy to build Sequitors.
The cheap to get knight incantor with the getting started AoS book.


So this gives me the following army


Heroes:

Astreia
Lord Incantor on gryph charger

Units:

2 units of 5 Sequitors
1 unit of 5 evocators (using both knight incantor to round out the unit)
1 unit of castigator

War Machines:

1 celestar ballistae


This brings the army to around 1100ish points.

I am wondering how to take this up to 2000. I think bumping the sequitor squads to 10 each would be good and maybe get a Judicator squad for my third battle line would be useful, but I am unsure about that part.


Any recommandations on what would combo nicely?

The 10 man sequitors is a good idea. I find that 5 die quickly. You have a good start on the cleansing phalanx battalion. With evocators casting empower on sequitors, they will reroll hits, wounds, and saves. You can also look into Gavriel since you are hammers of sigmar already. Him dropping with a squad of evocators to help guarantee a charge is powerful.

This comes up to 2000 points on the dot.

I like Naeve and her ability to be on the bord anywhere quickly to deal with ennemy heroes but I am able to swap her out for either the Comet or bumping a squad of Sequitors from 5 to 10 to better use the cleansing Phalanx.


Any advice on this? I feel that it's very short on mortal wound output, but it still has potential with the Sequitors re-rolling basically everything.

Is that a lord aquilor or arcanum on gryph charger. I think you mean arcanum. Aquilor doesn't fit this list. How sold are you on astreia? You could downgrade her to an incantor. that could free up some points. Also, the castigators are an option to cut, to net you a few more points. A relictor or castellant might come in handy too.
