I was just curious. I really don't feel like priming with Chaos Black then having to paint the entire model again with Abaddon Black to make sure that if any mistakes are made, the finish is the same. Is there a primer that has a finish closer to Abaddon black? I'm *thinking* that Rustoleum Black Primer might be the answer, but I'm not sure. I'm curious what you all have found.

Thanks

I use Rustoleum myself, and I can tell you the finish is close, but Abaddon Black is slightly darker. Once the rest of the paint goes on the model, you really shouldn't be able to tell the difference (unless the model is literally all black).

Raven Guard, so most of them will be essentially all black (except the double acquilla, bolter, and eyes... really about it).

Vallejo Black Surface Primer.

I don't believe it's available in aerosol form, though, so you will need an airbrush to apply it.
