Hi guys! In the process of re-doing old armies of mine for 8th ed, expanding them where necessary. Have designed what I think is a pretty good raiding force, with my Troops quota met, but I have 368 points left to spend on units and not quite sure what to pick. What would you recommend? Thanks in advance for your advice! :-)

Well what is all in your list? If you dont have transports get those, if you have those then get Ravagers, if you ave those then get Talos.

So far:

- Archon w/ Blast Pistol and Agoniser
- 2x 5 Warriors w/ Shredder. Sybarite with Agoniser, Blast Pistol & Phantasm grenade launcher.
- 1x 10 Warriors w/ Shredder & Dark Lance. Sybarite with Agoniser, Blast Pistol & Phantasm grenade launcher.
2x Venoms
1x Raider w/ Splinter Racks & Dark Lance

- Succubus w/ Blast Pistol and Shardnet & Impaler
- 2x 5 Wyches w/ 1 set of Hydra Gauntlets. Hekatrix with Agoniser & Blast Pistol.
- 1x 10 Wyches w/ 3 sets of Hydra Gauntlets. Hekatrix with Agoniser & Blast Pistol.
2x Venoms
1x Raider w/ Splinter Racks & Dark Lance

- Haemonculus w/ Electrocorrosive Whip, Hexrifle & Ichor Injector.
- 2x 5 Wracks w/ 1 Ossefactor. Acothyst with Scissorhand & Liquefier Gun.
- 1x 10 Wracks w/ 2 Ossefactors. Acothyst with Scissorhand & Liquefier Gun.

Actually, on the topic, what loadout would you think is best for the Ravagers?

For now Dis Cannons, BUT, CA is out soon and they most likely will go up 5pts each, 15pts for a Ravager, if they go up that much i would still say Dis Cannons, if GW does what GW does and extremely over nerf things b.c they cant do math and make them 10pts more, then DL is better.

Just dont glue the guns in for now.

I agree with dissie ravagers. You already have enough DL on your raiders (unless you roll in a particularly vehicle heavy meta)

For what it's worth, I'd also cut down those 10 man squads to 9 so the characters can ride too.

Also Dissies over lances all day, even on the Raiders IMO, blasters on the Warriors and Archon.

I wouldn't bother spending the points on Agonisers for the Sybarites. If your Kabalites are getting into melee then it's all gone horribly wrong, and one Agoniser will not rescue the situation...
