Funky robots inspired by the old, old Titanticus Knights.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/882426675/osm-presents-robots-from-the-future

Welcome to the kickstarter campaign for Robots from the future! A range of robot miniatures designed to fit your sci-fi tabletop wargames no matter the scale.

With your help we will expand our range to include these characterful robot miniatures. Each miniature is lovingly sculpted by Jason Fairclough of ThunderChild Miniatures, and gloriously cast in unpainted, high quality resin (and potentially heavy metal) by the team at Hysterical Games.
The Miniatures

With your pledge you will receive a selection of figures from the list below, dependant on the reward level you select.

You can also add extra sets, and figures not included in your reward level! To add these to your reward simply add the amount shown in the corresponding image to your pledge. Please add the funds to your pledge during the campaign. Shortly after the kickstarter has finished we will send a survey to find out which specific sets you wanted.

Shipping. We ship globally but we don’t charge shipping until after you Kickstarter pledge is packaged up and ready to go. We use Royal Mail untracked unless you request tracked in the survey.

First stretch goal is unlocked, 2nd is coming close (the two headed Ettin).

Some really cool bizarre designs.

I like the idea of these robots more than I like these robots. Is the one in the first picture in your second post now available? Him I would buy.

Interesting. Not a nostalgia for me, but still kinda cool. I like the third one in the top row. I wonder how they would do as 28mm battlebots.

They're a tad taller than a marine so they can work in a 28mm game.

Too cartoonish for me but very interested in the Scrapbots

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

That Ettin looks like a crazy 70s Go Nagai villain.

I have to have it.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

It's probably best I don't say what it reminds me of.

Anyway, I'm in for one robit now, one bigger robit in the pledge manager.

Aphrodite-A's oppai missiles? I'm hoping those heads have a bit of a neck on them.

These things have too much funk to them for their own good.

No, South Park.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-E2t0oGm9U8 (Warning! It's very...South Park.)

And yeah, their funk is both their biggest selling point as their biggest sales barrier. I'd feel like a jerk asking the creator to go more conventional, but I'm buying the two most conventional robots. These are like Full Blanche when perhaps some moderated Blanche is required to prime the market first.
