So this week I’ve finished yet another squad of Hellblasters for my Crimson Fists Force. I really love these guys as the models are beautiful sculpts and really suit my clean style of painting. It also helps that they are devastating on the battlefield:

There’s a few more photographs and a bit more detail on my blog at:

Do you have some sort of edge highlighting cheat-code? Looks fantastic.

Hahaha cheers mate!! My top tip is holding my breath for each brushstroke.... it seems to keep them steady for me!

Very nice.

I wish GW would do some replacement Imperial Fist/Crimson Fist Primaris shoulder pads. I loathe applying decals and would prefer raised relief.

I agree. All my normal marines have sculpted pads. Apparently the older ones fit Primaris models. It as these guys are the ‘easy to build’ sculpts from Dark Imperium the shoulder pads are al ready an integral part of the model.

Useful info. Thank you.

I have some Easy to Build Primaris so now the question I have to ask myself is which do I trust more, my hand painting or model sawing skills. (ok maybe not sawing that vigorously)

Hmmmmm I’m not sure these guys take welll to sawing due to the way they are designed! What about pre-rendered Fist symbols designed to fit shoulder pads from Shapeways? I haven’t bought them myself but I hear good things!
