Hello,

i need your help .
I´d like to add some Admech forces to my Imperial Guard forces but i don´t really know any of the Admech Units.

Could you help me decide on what to buy next?

My idea is to add some Admech to my Imperial Guards. I´d really like to add some close combat power to my to my shooty guards. I thought about adding a small detachment. (Vanguard?)
Does the admech posses some good close combat units? Maybe something with deepstrike? I thought about deploying scions with those units.

Thank you for your help!

Best regards from Germany

Speaking mostly from theory here, since I haven't run admech on the table, but as a Guard player, the things I look for in an ally faction are mobility, firepower that can deal with -1 or worse to hit, and close combat.

To that effect, I'd be looking at the Termite drills with the electro priests and dragoons primarily. Even though the Stygies dragoons took a hard nerf, 6 of them are still pretty durable and should be able to at least force your opponent to dedicate firepower their way instead of at your LR's/Manticores/Basilisks.

Onagers are another option as they seem to have fairly effective shooting and durability for a reasonable cost.
