Just curious what your favorite warband is for Warhammer Underworlds. I'm planning on trying to learn it this weekend during my GW's 5th birthday/anniversary. I have the core game, but I'm considering picking up an additional warband (maybe Nightvault depending on if I have the money for it).

Voted Sepulctural Guard, but I don't recommend them as a starting point as they can be tricky. Magore's Fiends or Reavers are numerous, fairly survivable and will give you good experience.

I like the thorns of the briar queen, simply for looks alone. But the moonclan and tzeentch warbands also look great. The skaven are probably my favorite team from season 1.

Chosen Axes on the basis of being a Slayer Warband.

Sepulchral Guard on the basis of being the closest thing to a 'mundane' (albeit undead) Warband.

That is correct. They are releasing the 2 Shadespire warbands separately.

Though if you're at all interested in the game, try to pick up Shadespire. It's at least a $30-$40 savings compared to buying the warbands and boards seperately.

I have a copy, just took my buddy to go get one for himself and they didnt have em, so when we went to the online store all we saw was nightvault, so I was curious. I really like the set, adn have nightvault on order.

I got nightvault.
The night haunt are really good it seems. The sigmarines are pretty bad.

Also picked up skaven because I loved the idea of a rat champion running around slaying everyone. Turns out that is kind of how it works out. LOL. Skaven seem OP. Which is great!
