Hello fellow Horus Heresy lovers,

Check out our latest Horus Heresy battle report on our blog:

http://xhorikwar.blogspot.com/2018/10/horus-heresy-battle-report-8-clash-of.html

Fully painted armies, our own terrain, unique scenario rules, and part of an ongoing campaign.

Each turn has a random chance of a dust storm.

I hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed making it.

Thanks, Glumy. I appreciate anyone taking the time to check out our stuff since not many people are big into Horus a Heresy these days.

The campaign will continue to escalate as we build and paint more stuff, so if you like it, check out the blog from time to time.

Interesting, how are you finding the Omega in battles? Lots give it a pass but it's a nice model.

This is the first game I have used it. If you take a look at the bat rep, you will see it underperformed. But I think that the scenario was partly to blame because of the dust storm rules that limited visibility and the tightly packed terrain that limited mobility and provided a lot of cover saves. I’m looking forward to giving it another go soon.

But like you said, the model is really cool and that is justification enough to use it in our games!

Tbh I dont think it's a tank that really can earn its value back. It's got a gigantic price tag quite limited range and well its not exactly good at killing tanks that arent on a rhino chassis. But it is a snazzy. Looking model way cooler than the arcus or punisher.

Thanks, CragHack. It’s all homebrew scratch-built terrain on a mat from DeepCut Studio. It all comes from HomeDepot: electrical box for the comm tower building, styrofoam insulation hills, and two gutter elbows for the command outpost. And lots of rocks glued down and painted, of course. Check out the blog and some of the other battle reports for more.
