Hey guys, this is my first ever post here so I apologise if i do it wrong but anyway, here we go:

I have never really played 40k and only collected to paint but decided to get into playing it. I made a 1500pt list and was thinking of using the Raven Guard tactics for it as I have been painting them as a homebrew chapter. Here's the list:

1500 point Primaris Marine List – Battalion.

HQ – 186 points
- Primaris Captain w/ MC auto-bolt rifle and power sword (101pts)
- Primaris Chaplain (85pts)

Troops: 300 points
- Primaris Intercessors x 5 (100pts)
- Primaris Intercessors x 5 (100pts)
- Primaris Intercessors x 5 (100pts)

Elites: 355 points
- Primaris Ancient (69pts)
- Primaris Aggressors x 3 w/ flamestorm gauntlets (124pts)
- Primaris Aggressors x3 w/ auto-boltstorm gauntlets and fragstorm launcher (162pts)

Fast Attack: 180 points
- Inceptor Squad x 3 w/ assault bolters (180pts)

Heavy Support: 421 points
- Hellblaster x 10 w/ Plasma incinerator (330pts)
- Thunderfire cannon and gunner (81pts)

Total: 1442 points

Second and most important, I see you are using your codex without Chapter Approved point changes. Intercessor cost now 18 points instead of 20. That's only one example. I recommend you getting a SM point value correctly. Also, if playing it is not only the Rule Book, we have two Big Faqs that changes the game and also Chapter Approved.

Another thing, you are not giving any relic, have a look about this.

I know many will go against this but, I recommend you having a look at Battlescribe app. There you can try different list and combine options. It is good for points, easy to use and very fast. I use it for creating my list. But always have your codex for rules.

10 man hellblasters is maybe to big, maybe better 7 man or two 6 man squad.

I am not fan of the flame Agressor. You could change them for a Dreadnought. Also the Chaplain should be replaced for a Lieutenant and place him near the hellblasters for re-rolling the wounding 1s. The 5 man intercessor squad with one auxiliary grenade launcher (allows you to shoot the grenade at 30") cost 91 points.
