Hi, everyone. I just finished a couple squads of Chaos Raptors for my Renegades and Heretics army. I began this small Night Lord Project with my Night Lords Terror Squad Kill team and decided to expand the force into a very elite vanguard/command Force of Night Lord Chaos Space Marines to lead my army of Heretic militia.

This pack of Night Raptors is known throughout the Skin-Thieves Warband as especially savage and crushingly brutal in their assaults. Always using a strange fusion of plundered Necron and Eldar Xeno-Tech amplifiers to alter and amplify their war-cries into horrific wails and banshee howls, destroying the moral of their prey amidst the carnage of a Night Lord raid or before a massive planetary assault. They often form the vanguard of the Warbands assaults, sowing terror and confusion with their sensor and vox-jammers - attacking the headquarters of the enemy and torturing them over the vox to force their men into submission. They are also given an assortment of combi-weaponry to destroy infantry, armor and elite troops if the situation demands. Both of these units often engage in macabre friendly competition - trying to outdo one another with greater acts of brutality and derring-do. Both of their sergeants; Champion Hexar and Champion Vhultis pride themselves on their respective squadrons ability to kill and subject their prey to horrifying and morale-breaking ambushes. Despite their morbid sense of humor and brash banter during attacks, these arrogant Warriors form a valuable elite core to the Skin-Thieves - terrifying their enemies while simultaneously emboldening their masses of Chem-Dog Traitor militia to keep pressing their overwhelming assaults...

I love the Night Lords and absolutely LOVED converting and painting these two units. I stuck with the “Skin-Thieves” theme for them, like my initial Kill Team and sculpted flayed faces and flesh to pin onto their power armor. I’m also a huge fan of the classic (early 3rd ed.) Chaos Raptors and opted to use their bat-winged jump packs so they appear a bit more striking. I also used some left over metal (late 3rd edition) Chaos Raptor arms so that some of the Night Lords would have the weird amplifiers for the howling sounds. Well, next up Is some sketchwork for the final piece to this part of my army: the HQ and his retinue. Thanks for checking this out!

Very cool, especially the red of the wings.

You love the T-Rex. Its both a hero and a Villain in the first two movies. It is the "king" of dinosaurs. Its the best. You love your T-rex.
Then comes along the frakking Spinosaurus who kills the T-rex, and the movie says "LOVE THIS NOW! HE IS BETTER" But...in your heart, you love the T-rex, who shouldn't have lost to no stupid Spinosaurus. So you hate the movie. And refuse to love the Spinosaurus because it is a hamfisted attempt at taking what you loved, making it TREX +++ and trying to sell you it.

Greetings, Your Traitor Night Lords are great!

I like that You used the ancient jump packs from 3rd.

They really work well with the helmets.

Wonderful mix and match of parts!
