Thought I would post that I just started playing 40K after 20 years of wanting to play it and finally bit the bullet! I even managed to rope my dad into it, he plays Adeptus Custodes and I play Imperial Guard (Astra Militarum now) and we've both already bought way to much! We are stilling building and theory crafting our armies at different point values; 500, 750, 1,500 and 2,000 points.

After a lot of searching on the Internet for tips, tricks and other useful info I came across Dakkadakka and thought I should join! Especially after a post by a user named Polonius that seems to have done a great job of breaking down the IG, I haven't read through all of it yet, but it seems pretty good!

With all that said, I hope to put DakkaDakka to use!

Just want to say thanks to everybody for the warm welcome! The one phrase I've seen here and there is "Cash for the Cash God, Debt for the Debt Throne!" seems to be accurate! Haha
