Assassinorum: execution force, this little gem of a game. I re-opened it today, while gluing my Van Saar, and suddenly I thought of using its tiles for Necromunda.
Have anyone used these tiles for Necro ? Or the ones of Deathwatch ?
Oh, and I have just realised I have enough model in this boxe for a full Chaos Cult gang ! I found the rules for the Chaos Cult (https://whc-cdn.games-workshop.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/Necromunda_Chaos_Cults-040918.pdf) however, they miss some information: what are chainglaives and cult icon ? I didn't find them in my GWIII !

I did a first draft gang, not competitive but I wanted to use some of those flamers / hand flamers that GW and FW give us plenty of.

You didn't find Chainglaive and Cult Icon in GW3 because they are in GW4. Cult Icon was originally described in the Genestealer Cult rules, but was later included in GW4 (Cawdor) after the white dwarf cult rules were replaced by pdfs.

Chaos cult originally had some unique glove/claw weapon, but they removed several unique weapons for the cults and replaced them with weapons already released in the books. For example the Bone Sword was replaced by the more generic power sword.

Indeed, I have found them, thanks !
Does the Icon Cult stack with the skill ? Thus allowing 4 activations (2 for a leader + 1 for the Icon + 1 for the skill) ?

I thought about using the Assassinorum tiles, but for Kill team. They would work for Necro, but that would be one tight, quick fight. I don't know how well the wide-open Deathwatch boards would do. In that game, the limited ranges (using the range ruler) substitute for terrain effects. I do like the way you think.

Oh, and the Chaos cultists in Assassinorum should be golden for a Necro CC gang. The chain glaive and Cult Icon are not all that awesome (the first is a mediocre close combat weapon, and the second is an expensive item that lets you chain activate another fighter). I guess the Icon is OK, but it's like 40 creds.

Yes I would expect it does!

Yes indeed, I didn't put any chainglaive or Icon in my gang. Not even a wyrd psyker (his powers are very limited I think. The only good one is the +1 armor save).
I am a bit surprised Chaos cults are more shooting than assault oriented (better BS than WS and very few A).

Wyrd Psyker is very valuable in Turf War campaign as it can generate money like a champ.

Yes it is a little bit disappointing that chaos elite have better BS than WS.

Cawdor, too. Mostly. Cawdor Leader has a better WS, champs have a better BS. Go figure. It takes more than a +1 WS to make a good h2h fighter. Goliath Leader has that, plus a tasty +1 Attack, too.
