Your blues aren't very smooth; it's not obvious in the photos if that's a subtle camo pattern or a result of slightly rough drybrushing. If it's a camo pattern I would make it a bit more obvious, otherwise I would suggest working on getting smoother coats of colour.

It’s a mottled effect from using a lighter coat of wash over large flat surfaces.

Ah, I see. Yeah, applying straight washes to large surfaces can be tricky. Sometimes drybrushing the basecoat colour back over the surface after the wash has dried can help reduce this kind of mottling, and also provides a sort of highlighting. Of course it helps if you haven't painted all the details yet so there's no risk of getting the drybrush on them.

Oh? My first thought was "Yoshi"; it reminds me of Yoshi's Island actually. What were you going for?

I have no idea what that is.
I am noticing the laziness of using the exact same egg image with a simple colour swap - would it have killed them to vary the spot pattern?
I mean, you can see why Yoshi springs to mind for your photo, seeing as the eggs are sitting next to a green bipedal dinosaur...

Added some Empire of the Apes to my Protector forces so Hondo and Armodax can double down on the armor. I also used these guys to test bed the new Contrast paints, and they’re done almost entirely with those. I really like how they turned out, and may go back and repaint my G.U.A.R.D. with those because I was never terribly fond of how their wash came out.

I was originally going to give them a standard green, but changed my mind because I’d already painted the Terrasaurs green. Want to try and keep each faction to their own primary color for as long as I can.
