Hello all,

we hear rumours and know of a few things that are coming up, but my question is, what would you like to see?

Id love to see more obscure things, low level stuff that whilst maybe not necessarily made for 40k proper, are made for other games in the universe and can be utilized in 40k, Kill Team etc.

A few of the things id love to see are:

Arbites

Imperial Citizens (because how cool would smaller scale games taking place in cities be with civilians running around, potentially getting shot, captured, taken prisoner, rescued and the like. GW could even go as far as to make specific unit/scenario rules for them- 'lost in the crowd', 'random movement, providing cover to those beyond or hitting the crowd instead etc)

More Kill Team zones (Arbites/Enforcer Precincts, Hive Streets, larger cruiser ship maps that could potentially join with others to create massive layouts with one side as a special area and the other as a generic area.

Servo Skull, Cherubim, Servitor sets just like citadel skulls boxes.

Generic Imperial weapons sprue set including guns and cc weapons suitable for human conversions

Campaign books much like Forgeworld books of old with accompanying scenery pieces

A more organized set of expanded books on the other types of ways to play 40k (Cityfight, flyer Games, Apocalypse etc)

Hobby orientated books for things like Kill Team with suff like making objectives, terrain (fighting around a gargant construction site! :O ) and converting specialists with showcases and the like (something severely lacking in the KT rulebooks and alternate campaign rules, stuff for using transports, Inquisition and including stuff like daemonhosts, different units and the like for open and narrative play. Rules for mooks vs Kill Teams (Hordes vs Kill Teams, , much like the old version so you can mix up games

Those are a few of my ideas, what kind of things would you like to see and what do you think could possibly come up?

It's been "unofficially" acknowledged and "unofficially" confirmed at Games Day events that once the codex releases are over, they will start moving towards campaign supplements and associated splash releases for various factions.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them start expanding sub factions of existing armies e.g. Black Legion etc

Think: There's persistent rumors about a Slaanesh rework, so good chance that's coming next (needs it, so ok with me) and another logical step would be releasing the 2nd wave of Primaris models.

Want: Primaris models that synergize well with my Space Wolf army.

want:

SISTERS SISTERS SISTERS SISTERS

Think is coming up: Slaanesh, some new khorne odds and ends, probably primaris marines round deux.

I blew my commission painting hobby fund on Orks (no regrets there) but I am steadily building it back up in anticipation of sisters.

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

Oh sure those too but who really believes no 2nd codexes? Not even preferable as that means several factions are screwed until edition changes enough to require complete codex rewrite

Sisters of Battle are supposed to be comng out - "Emperor Willing" - so who knows when. Beta dex in CApproved but still no sign of actual models.

Slaanesh seems likely with Emps Children Codex, maybe World Eaters - but a proper Lost and Damned Dex would be much much more interesting.

Gensetaler Cults are overdue really

Hoping for Rogue Trader, Sisters of Silence and Assassins dex.

Doubtless we will have to have yet another base Marine Dex/ Primaris dex if only to stop the constant whining about Marines - seriously the amount of flak Sisters playes got for a fraction of the sccreming from pure Marine players.

After GSC and Sisters?

Imperial Agents, then Lost and the Damned.

Why? I don't know about you, but I find it hard to properly picture a galaxy wide conflict when it's just the main movers and shakers breaking heads. Show us the PDF. Show us the Fraetaris Militia. Show us the freaks, mutants and heretics that previously clove to the shadows.

Give us the armies that really show an empire on the very brink. The little guys. Those defending hearth and home as best they can. Let us peer into the fringe.

Indeed there are almost certainly many more Inquisitors than Marines in any snowflake marine chapter and they are far more likely to be in a random battlezone

Same with Arbites, Lost and the Damned etc etc

We have GSC and Sisters in the works (although if they truly want feedback from us with the Beta Sisters codex then that book is not due out to at least March IMHO).
I expect we will see more Primaris releases, although I don't really want to see them.
Ynnari codex needs to happen and I want GW to really get creative, ala Idoneth Deepkin, and show that there are certain changes an Aeldari goes through when dedicating themselves to the new God of Death.

I'd like to see:
Imperial Agents book featuring the Inquisition, Assassins, Rogue Traders etc.
Eldar Knights codex with a new "scout" sized wraithknight
Campaigns

March? What kind of super printers and carriers you think they have?-) For march codex would pretty much have to be on printers right now...

If(and that's big if) they take into account player comments expect more like october-november 2019.

There was a new "Warshard" version of the Avatar of Khaine that joined the Ynari in the latest novel.....

A solid Lost and the Damned type codex could also do something to help the soup situation. What if they intentionally make a few merc-style units that will work for almost anyone? Toss in a few tweaks for Tau auxiliaries, Necron slave armies, and Ork pirate crews and everyone can have the "Loyal 32."

I'd be suuuper pumped for new Chaos marine models. Especially cult troops.

They could have done this with Freebooterz but choose not to for whatever reason.

They could turn up in another dex with a slightly different datasheet to represent them as mercenaries operating outside ork territories

The new Blackstone Fortress boardgame features an imperial humanoid robot which does not look like a cheap copy from the Terminator franchise. I like this model a lot and it would be great, if these toasters would form whole units in the future instead of being just a single bot in an army.

The obvious things I would like to see would be IG regiments and a Lost and the Damned codex. I would like to also see the release/re-release of some flavorsome special characters that act as force multipliers bringing a new play style to any given army.

While we're wishlisting for a codex release - I'm hoping the inclusion of renegade guardsmen in the Blackstone box is the precursor for "Hereticus Militarum" .

A fully supported traitor guard list which is more than just "IG with spikes" is something I've been waiting for for over 20 years
