Over the years I have taken great inspiration from many, many plogs, blogs and WIPs, chiefly works by Biohazard, SystemSyn, BlackBabyJesus, Midnight Runner (all over at the BnC) along with Dakka's own KrautScientist and btoliver and while everything they do is just excellent, there is a special place in my heart for Kierdale, also over on the BnC. He has had the single-biggest influence on my minis of any other hobbyist and little else forum-related gets me as excited as seeing new stuff from him. His Psychopomps are, IMO, the standard by which all Slaanesh armies ought to be judged.
So who's your hobby-crush?

None really.
I like to check out what my close friends are doing on the Internet and irl and devote any crushing to those and my own projects.
I've made peace with myself and don't really succumb to hobby envy.

It totally isn't about hobby-envy and if you could point out what I said that made you think that I'll edit the OP for clarity.
I'm not jealous of these people, I am inspired by them.

I've been out of Warhammer for about 2 years now, but the works of Kraut always suck me in when I drop by the P&M Blogs. Gitsplitta is another one I really enjoy checking in on and I'll be honest, he's making me look at Bushido a bit more seriously. What I find most interesting is the evolution of the plogs as people change and their hobby takes on new forms, be that through new armies, new build/paint styles or simply by improving their own work. That kind of retrospective look at things is something that inspires me to improve and push the barrier no matter how lazy my hobby can be.
Closer to home, a good friend of mine always consistently pumps out amazing paint jobs on everything he does. My local Batman group there's him and another friend that really always inspire me for different reasons. One puts out the clean, highlighted and beautiful paint jobs and the other paints dark, gritty and weathered but also does some amazing terrain work as well. So many of our boards (our best ones for sure) are done up by him and the difference really shows

He is the original up cycle/scratch build Macgyver and dashingly handsome too.
Lovely chap.

There's certainly a soft spot for that batch of games devs from the mid to late '90s, when White Dwarf was great, and everything was new and shiny. Had a bit of a geek-out moment a while back when Gav Thorpe started following my Instagram page...

I think since starting the hobby, Lester Bursley from AwesomePaintJob was a huge inspiration for me. His crisp painting and the blog he had on Dakka were really great and it made me want to become a better painter, even if at the time I couldn't do much with a brush.
After that I've taken a lot of my inspiration from PM blogs on Dakka. Gitsplitta's blog I've been following even if I've not actively posted in his thread for literally years and his tutorial on blogging is something I always keep in mind when adding to my own blog.
Finnan's blog was also a massive inspiration to me as the Eldar he painted were truly fantastic and it's a shame he no longer updates his blog. Maybe there'll be a grand return someday.

Hmmm.
Painting. 'Yellow One' and 'Bohun', both have the capacity to make my jaw hit the floor every time as I whimper 'how?!?!?' at the latest miracles.
Visionary. Alan Bligh, who's rich knowledge of the ancient world built the Horus Heresy into what a glorious, bloody and engaging setting it became, when the risk of it being so OTT and cheesy was so high. Those FW black books are works of art. His passing was a terrible blow to all who knew him and to the hobby especially the 30k community who truly loved him.
Game Design. Andy Chambers, because amongst all his epic works, he created BattleFleet Gothic, as near, for me, to a perfect game as possible.
Author. Abnett and McNeil, I love the inquisitor books for their depictions of worlds in the 40k universe not at war and for rounded characters. I also recently read Mechanicum by McNeil and I think it's my favorite HH book.
Sculptor. Jacques-Alexandre Gillois, the Virago miniature is the finest sculpt in all Christendom imo. Yannick Hennebo, not least for Azumi from Studio McVey. Edgar Skomorowski, his work at FW was amazing.
Forge World Writer. Andy Hoare, this guy has been a stalwart of the GW writing teams for a long time, and is the only one who's written about 40k in all major incarnations (FFG, GW, BL, FW), he wrote IA13, perhaps FW's finest IA work and the only book that has ever tempted me to collect chaos.
Artist. Mark Gibbons, who's Blood Axe Ork made me love the Clan for Life. Paul Bonner, who knows orcs and trolls better than anyone. Les Edwards, who brings visceral horror to fantasy. Tony Ackland, who was both WHFB and RoC StD for me. Adrian Smith, who was RoC L&tD and who's recent work on Blood Rage, Hate and The Others has blown my mind.
Codex Writer. Phil Kelly, I miss his work. The Ork Codex he wrote remains for me the greatest codex ever written, because at no stage was it 'broken' but it kept orks playable for years and years.

Honestly? And without trying to be too cool for skool etc?
GW Manager Ramon Laan. Used to be my boss. Now runs one of the Netherland’s stores. He gave me honest feedback when I botched an interview for a full time role in Canterbury.
That feedback genuinely changed my life. Without it, I most definitely would not be where I am today. And where I am today is pretty sweet.
Hats off to you, Ramon!

My hobby crushes are pretty old (relatively speaking) and not sure they're really very active anymore. :(
Thierry Husser (did Rackham studio paint jobs), "Cyrill" from CMON galleries--never got their full name, Jeremy Bonamont-Tebol; all for the painting side of things. Definite nod to Jen Haley as well.
No other "crushes" on the other side of things; though did like Werner Klocke sculpts for quite a while, I wouldn't say I crushed on his work. Sadly, hard to know other sculptors' names usually as it isn't typically listed with whatever they make.
I have some anti-crushes as far as rules and game design goes, though.

The dedication he had for his blog and for building up mega armies for mega battles (the last one had around 40,000 points on each side). Sadly he seems to have lost part of his drive since WFB got canned and don't post as much anymore.

OOoh, yeah - Werner Klocke is definitely a hobby crush for me too. I was big into Freebooters Fate a few years back, sadly a lot of that is sculpted digitally by other people now and doesn't have near the charm, so I've lost interest :/

Just gotta love his builds. I check his P&M Blogs at least once a week. His skill and attention to detail is just mind boggling.
Also: KroozA. It's a damn shame the old "Job's a gud'un" subforum does not exist anymore. All of his Orky Scratchbuilds were amazing. He doesnt seem to be around anymore sadly.
