Nice write-up! Seems like everyone had fun, except the DG player who was completely wrong about the Stratagem! No loss if he couldn't accept being incorrect in a friendly tourney and left instead. Shame, but the rest sounds super fun!

For me, the joy is in putting some good-looking models on the board and playing out a fantasy battle - not arguing over the poorly-made rules of some 3rd party who neither has any power over my play nor will be visiting me (and my opponent) to ensure we are "playing by the rules"

That was a fun read, with cool pics too - thanks for taking the time to do it!

Will you be writing up the next tournament?

I really do think Kill Team players should embrace the 20 man roster concept more rather than just using lists. Kill Team isn't so big of a game that you can't actually have a sideboard to better tailor for opposing faction, terrain setup and mission type.

Heck, you don't even have to actually have 20 models for some factions since many of them could pull double duty as particular specialists and such.

Still, I guess 2 lists is at least a step in the right direction.

Thanks for sharing - I like that necron player's paint scheme, the black/grey and yellow/orange.
