The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

I honestly can't wait to watch this. I really dig how mellow the trailer is, perfect tone for the aftermath of Infinity War. Definite day 1 watch for me.
Disappointed with the title, honestly. Didn't they say the reason they were keeping the title a secret for so long was because it was a spoiler for Infinity War? I don't see how Endgame is a spoiler for IW.
Anyway, looks good.

Neat to see a first look but no startling revelations yet.
Just everything as everyone thought it would be.
Spoiler:
Except Stark lost in space. That bit is very new. I fully expected him to be on earth going crazy. Really interesting to see him dying in space.

When they said all that I thought for sure the Title would have been "Avengers: Heroes Reborn" lol.

Captain Marvel in March straight into Avengers: Endgame in April. It'll be interesting to see if this has a negative effect on their overall profit with people getting film fatigue.
The start of next year is looking to be just as packed as this year was.

Could be. But Marvel films have avoided it so far. Generally because of the on going narrative people are always excited to see what happens next. What the next piece of the narrative is. Being back to back will (hopefully) leave people pumped after '95 Cap Marvel to see how she impacts the Avengers today.

The MCU is an absolute masterpiece of cross pollination.
From the usual end of credits sting giving us the merest of (sometimes misleading) hints, to easter eggs and mentions within the film, it's clear this is a single reality we're dealing with.
Spoiler:
Consider the Nick Fury bit in Infinity War. Just an image on a Pager. Pager is antiquated tech in this day and age. So it sets up that Captain Marvel is someone already known to Earth. And the symbol it showed was enough to create Nerd Buzz, because we know what it portends, and gets the more casual viewer sniffing around Google looking for an answer. Arguably guerilla marketing for Captain Marvel, who in the public consciousness is a Marvel D-Lister at best
They all help generate buzz and excitement for the next instalment. And whilst their internal quality does indeed vary, Marvel Studios are yet to churn out an objectively bad movie. Certainly, I've seen the majority in the cinema, and have never felt short changed, even though some felt much better value than others.
This is Marvel. They simply don't experience Box Office Fatigue. Maybes they should, But they seem genuinely immune to it.

And I still think Captain Marvel should'a come out before Infinity War.

It didn't with BP/Infinity War.
And I think that if fatigue from this sort of thing was going to set it, it would have done so already.

Only thing I can figure is that the name suggests they're still on Strange's one avenue to victory out of the umpteen million. Which isn't really a surprise or much of a spoiler, though.
That was my primary issue with IW, FWIW...the stakes didn't feel real. Of course all those new characters aren't dead, and of course the good guys are going to win in the next movie.
Well, being comics I dont doubt that everyone will be alive. In fact i think this is going to end up bringing back a bunch of dead bad guys too.
The stakes i think are less who will live and who will die and more what these events do to these people. Civil war showed that best so far. But endgame will show us the real fall out of infinity war. Thats the stakes. Everyone will live, but who are they going to be post phase 3 as opposed to their origin movies?

It was less that the title was a spoiler for the events of Infinity War and more that they didn't want to create discussion about the 4th film before people had seen the 3rd. By not giving it a name, all the discussion about it has been built on top of seeing War instead of speculating what the title really meant. I suspect they also just didn't want to commit to a name until they saw how the reaction to War played out.

Sure. There aren't exactly a lot of those, though. Loki and Red Skull are about it, as Stark's 'villains' so far are a bit of a joke.
Though it may be an opportunity to do a real Mandarin, if they can figure out a way to make him not comically racist and bad PR for the Chinese audience.

I really want a video of it disintegrating in the snap now...

It was an off screen thing. It is how Cap avoided the Snap. The beard gave its life for him. It's really why he is crying in the trailer.
Also, I just watched the trailer finally and I thought the thumbnail pic of Tony Stark sitting in the ship with his helmet was actually Hawkeye that whole time. I was very confused at first.

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal
That worked well, and the trailer gave NOTHING away, except that Antman made it back. Spot on, and even though I know the general outcome (we all do: Avengers will win with some losses, probably heavy), this movie has me wicked excited. Can’t wait for April!!
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.
