I am looking for some tips or a tutorial to paint realistic intestines on my great unclean one.
I think only red and some tamiya clear red is not enough on such great miniature...
Any ideas?

I would say use flesh tones rather than reds and add some purple shades to give it that Ischaemic look. Reds might be a bit much as it’s supposed to rotting. I base this on my experience of intestines. I painted my nurgle guts slaanesh grey with a purple wash then some crimson wash in patches for the classic cartoony style purple guts. Used flesh highlights though.

Yeah, innards themselves are often mauve, pale pink, beige or tinged green sometimes...when you remove all the blood. Most internal organs aren't bright or bloody red when they're cleaned up.

Thank you for the tips.
Actually I base coated the intestines with red, but I will give them a more grey look then.
A little bit of blood splatter must be, so I will see where it goes...

Well if you are brave and really want to id say look up animal intestine to get a sense for the color. But since its papa nug.. id say flesh tones mixed with a blue grey to saturated it, shade some areas with purple and green, then Candy it with ether red - brown(?) or purple.

On my Death Guard, I based the intestines purple, then glazed up with a weird pinkish purple and finally an army painter color called abomination gore. Purple really helps sell the look but I'm sure you could use red and wash it with a purple ink or wash.

What I did for the rotting intestines on my Plague Marine (pictured below) is base them Screamer Pink, then highlight up with GW flesh colours (Bugman's Glow, Cadian Fleshtone, Kislev Flesh) before washing it with Coelia Greenshade. For the string of intestines of the base, I again based with Screamer Pink and highlighted with the flesh tones, before slopping on some Blood For The Blood God, so there's a couple of approaches you could use.

Thank you.
I will give it a try with the flesh tones on top of some purple and grey.
Actually I painted it red, because of the warhammer tv video, I don’t have any purple paint, but purple ink.
But all in all I want it a bit more dark and with more gore and your tips seem well for that.

I did a little progress on my great unclean one and I painted the intestines now.
Not yet finished.
Not sure if or when, how much gore I should put on the intestines.
Or should I only use a little bit of nurgle rot as some goo or should I use gloss varnish to let it look slimy?

From the little I expect when seeing intestines, that's pretty-much it.
Possibly touching some of the edges with a pale blue might do it, but I'm guessing.
Whatever you do to it, you've done a damned fine job.

The trick is not too much gore, but definitely add gloss - viscera to it. Slippery and gloopy is much more off putting.

nice so far!
I would be tempted to do a light drybrush of a light flesh tone, just over the middle of the strands of intestine, and as Skinnereal said, a little blue at edges then add a little gore.
And definitely gloss!

Use a very wet brush with very thinner down paint.
Splotch it on in patches that do not touch, and let gravity do the dirty work for you. As the individual wet spots dry, they will make a gradient for you, and pool naturally where heavy clots would be forming on your viscera.
Alternatively you can freeze blueberries, toss them in hot water for 5 seconds and then peel the skin off of the frozen core. All the color is in the peel, and just squeeze it on in the same manner described above. Worked out pretty great for me, just make sure you seal it or the colors will fade in a few years.
