I don't quite understand even after doing google search... maybe if someone can give me a link that explains titans in easy to understand terms for a complete noob. Because in my head from what iv seen it looks like there are titans specifically for certain factions/sides...

Thanks

Yes they are.
Rules for chaos titans can be found in Imperial Armour Index: Forces of Chaos from Forge World.

You include them in your Chaos armies the same way anyone else includes Lords of War units (so refer to main rule book for details).

RAW: yes.

In practical terms: no. Titans all cost too many points to fit into a standard 2000 point game. The closest you're going to get is chaos knights.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

Isn’t a warhound 1500pts so you could have one of those and then 500 points of what ever. Easy.

Just looked at chapter approved, 2000 points for a warhound. So yes. A one model army. U would get first turn.

It's 2k points IIRC, so you can just have one of those, and nothing else.

Guardsmen, hear me! Cadia may lie in ruin, but her proud people do not! For each brother and sister who gave their lives to Him as martyrs, we will reap a vengeance fiftyfold! Cadia may be no more, but will never be forgotten; our foes shall tremble in fear at the name, for their doom shall come from the barrels of Cadian guns, fired by Cadian hands! Forward, for vengeance and retribution, in His name and the names of our fallen comrades!

Yeah, a Warhound IS a 2K army.

You need Index: Forces of Chaos and you need to disregard people who will try to control how you represent 'your dudes'.

Id personally steer clear of Titans. Enjoy your Brass scorpions, lords of skulls and the like.

Hard to go wrong with a funky brass scorpion as a center piece.

Forgeworld doesn't have shops themselves (well they kind of do...) but you have to place orders via the web, thankfully though we in NZ just got a massive hike in the prices thanks to their pricing restructure. Don't for the love of Chaos start your resin modelling career with a titan, they are not easy to make nor cheap.

Sensibly yes. 40k breaks down in big games leading to boring games where one side does nothing for loooong time and first turn effect just keeps going higher and higher so playing turns 2-7 are more or less irrelevant. And it doesn't really matter for titans. In 10k game one side takes titan and other doesn't, the one that doesn't wins. If both take then the one that starts wins.

And it wont' even FEEL like big battle in 40k universum. You don't get feel of big battles just by upping point costs of 40k just like you don't get feel of small action by limiting to 100 pts lists. For those you need different rule sets. Which is why there's kill team for small scale actions. For big game there lacks rules but then again we lack models as well as 28mm isn't suitable for big battles. Not many even have enough models let alone like 20'x12' board to play on...(and way to move models in the center)

You can't come in here thinking you can play more or less than 2000pts! It'll get you banned from gaming for life.

Yep, Chaos vs Imperial in one box. Ideal for a two person game. Oh, and both factions can field the same types of knights. So it's not like you buy the box & 1/2 of it's auto-useless

No. Those are for a different game(ignore it) & only stand about 8" tall. Way too small for 40k.
Start here: https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-NZ/Warhammer-40-000?N=3666433324+4170804870+4258132999&Nr=AND%28sku.siteId%3ANZ_fw%2Cproduct.locale%3Aen_NZ_fw%29&Nrs=collection%28%29%2Frecord%5Bproduct.startDate+%3C%3D+1544676540000+and+product.endDate+%3E%3D+1544676540000%5D

That's Forge World (another division of GW, that you buy from mostly via their website), they make the 40k scale titans. And their different weapons systems. You pick your body, you choose your weapons, and you give FW lots & lots of your $. And don't forget to add a copy of the Chaos Index. Otherwise you've got a lot of high priced resin & no rules.

Ummm...Nothing about those titans are non-usable as others. The chaos one just has own transfer sheets.

You get 2 knights both imperium and chaos can use. For discount. Do you want to pay 245$(australian) or significantly more buying same knights separately?

its like why would they sell you Dark angles and space marines in the same box...

Funny that. There's lots of 2 faction boxes sold. Tooth & claw, forgebane etc etc etc...

Different game though seeing how lol bad warlords are guess somebody who likes to win wouldn't mind you using that for warlord. Automatic win for opponent.
